On July 17th, part of the ATI Project team spent the afternoon with Legambiente, cleaning up the mouth of the Serchio river in Marina di Vecchiano, part of the Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli Natural Park (video).
Volunteering led to the collection of over 90 kg of waste. Part of the collected material was used to create small works of art by the children of our team members, during the “Thousand Lives of Plastic” workshop dedicated to raising awareness on the issue of sustainability and the importance of recycling.
At the end of the initiative, ATI received the Legambiente Volunteer Identity Card.
Filled with satisfaction and determined to make volunteering a regular event, we are already excited for the next similar initiatives!
