The executive design for the new School Campus ITIS “Divini” is part of the post-earthquake renewal intervention in the Marche region. The design develops into two volumes, one hosting the school activities and the other a gymnasium, these are connected through a third volume that hosts the school laboratories. As recommended by the ministerial guidelines and tender specifications, the outdoor spaces are arranged into a large area for sports, that will include an athletics track, a soccer field and a basketball court. The complexity of the intervention is managed through the use of BIM technology, a strategy through which it was possible to develop a project that seeks to integrate all parts with the surrounding landscape, both from an architectural point of view and from a technical-functional one. Thanks to the geometries and practical layout of the volumes, it was chosen to employ prefabricated technology in wood and reinforced concrete, optimising costs and construction duration within a very articulated cadre of requirements and performing solutions.
