The concept, developed through a BIM oriented approach, engages in a design vision that looks to define a model capable of relaying context and content. The new Pizzigoni campus conquers urban zones that had been dismissed, by playing with the composition and flexibility of the architectural volumes and their relations. Educational spaces and common areas are easy to reach and are conceived to guarantee flexibility regarding the possible future need to change the functional layout and circulation. Furthermore, the circulation spaces are designed to host educational and social events when needed. The bioclimatic strategies undertaken and the choice of a wooden structure make this campus an example for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
