Assistant Site Supervision Manager

Location: Pisa
What we ask

We are seeking an Assistant Site Supervision Manager to drive technical oversight and quality control across high-profile construction projects. In this role, you will join our Construction Supervision Team, working side-by-side with the Lead Site Supervisor to manage daily site operations and project administration.

You will ensure peak execution standards and maintain critical job site documentation, serving as the essential bridge between design teams and field operations while keeping all works strictly on schedule and compliant with statutory permits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Inspections: Assist the Lead Supervisor with daily site management and conduct routine inspections to audit work quality and progress.
  • Cost & Accounting Management: Oversee construction accounts and scope adjustments, tracking costs while validating measurement books and interim payment certificates.
  • Site Coordination: Liaise directly with contractors to align physical construction with technical, detailed, and executive designs.
  • Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Draft technical and administrative documentation, including planning permit filings, environmental compliance records, and site safety files.
  • Design Support & Problem Solving: Collaborate on design updates and resolve complex engineering challenges directly on-site to keep construction moving forward.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Engineering or Architecture, or a Technical Diploma in Surveying.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in site supervision, construction management, or detailed design development.
  • Languages: Native or professional fluency in Italian.
  • Software Skills: Operational proficiency in BIM software (Revit), CAD tools, and construction cost estimation applications.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse project teams.

Core Technical Competencies:

  • Technical Site Management: Proven mastery of quality assurance protocols with strong critical-thinking skills to resolve field issues on-site.
  • Accounting & Regulatory Frameworks: Expertise in managing public and private construction accounts, paired with deep knowledge of urban planning approval processes.
  • Design Integration: Skilled at adapting field feedback into coherent design variations while preserving project integrity, environmental standards, and safety regulations.
