Fire Protection Engineer

What we ask

We are seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire Safety Team. In this role, you will be part of our production team, focusing on the design, analysis, and preparation of fire safety documentation for both national and international projects. You will ensure the highest safety standards and seamless technical integration in accordance with company protocols.

The successful candidate will deliver excellence in fire safety design, translating regulatory requirements into concrete, functional strategies by combining technical rigor with an integrated design vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Prepare complex fire safety projects in compliance with current regulations, defining both active and passive fire protection strategies.
• Regulatory Liaison & Permitting: Prepare technical documentation to obtain approvals and authorizations from the National Fire Corps (Vigili del Fuoco), including Fire Safety Certificates (SCIA), project evaluations, and technical waivers.
• BIM Integration & Technical Drawing: Develop and optimize fire safety requirements within Revit digital models and AutoCAD drawings, ensuring full consistency between design and regulation.
• Multidisciplinary Support: Provide ongoing technical assistance to multidisciplinary teams to resolve regulatory challenges, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met.

Experience & Requirements

• Education: Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Fire Protection) or Architecture.
• Language: Proficiency in Italian; good command of English.
• Professional Experience: At least one year of experience in design firms or engineering companies, with a specific focus on fire prevention and safety.
• Software Expertise: Advanced operational knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Preferred Skills (Plus): Registration with the Ministry of the Interior (ex L. 818/84); experience with complex projects (hospitals, schools, infrastructure); ability to interface directly with authorities and clients during the permitting process.
