MEP Designer & Technical Lead (Electrical and Mechanical)

What we ask

We are seeking an MEP Project Lead to join our team in Pisa.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the mechanical and electrical engineering design lifecycle, driving cross-disciplinary integration through integrated design processes and BIM coordination. You will manage project schedules, keep deliverables on track, and ensure strict quality control across all technical output.

Main Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Lead technical execution for MEP projects, balance workloads, and direct multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee BIM model quality and ensure all technical drawings and project documentation meet rigorous standards.
• Cross-Disciplinary Management: Drive clash detection processes and integrate MEP systems into the overarching architectural framework.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients, construction managers, and key project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Civil/Building) or a Technical Diploma paired with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience: Proven track record managing and coordinating MEP projects within the commercial and residential sectors.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in BIM workflows (Revit MEP) and working knowledge of AutoCAD for deliverable oversight.
• Management Skills: Strong project management mindset with expertise in resource allocation and milestone tracking.
• Languages: Native or fluent Italian; good command of spoken and written English preferred.
• Key Competencies: Proven leadership, strong communication skills, exceptional organization, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex issues.
