Tender Manager

What we ask

We are seeking a Tender Manager to join our Public & Private Tenders Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing tender processes by coordinating internal workgroups, external consultants, and leads from other technical teams.

The successful candidate will ensure the meticulous planning and drafting of technical proposals, guaranteeing strict adherence to deadlines, managing team workloads, and continuously monitoring project progress in line with corporate quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Management: Oversee all tender phases, ensuring clear and effective communication of procurement procedures to the team.
• Team Coordination: Lead workgroup activities, monitor progress, and optimize operational flows by defining workflows and rigorous review processes.
• Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships with clients for private procurement procedures, providing regular updates and resolving critical issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Ensure full compliance with deadlines, budget constraints, and project specifications, keeping senior management informed on overall progress.
• Quality Control: Review and verify the quality of technical proposal documentation, ensuring total consistency with administrative requirements.

Experience & Requirements

• Education: Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Professional Experience: 5–7 years of experience within the public tenders office of engineering or architectural firms.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian; a good command of written and spoken English is preferred.
• Software Expertise: Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Acrobat).
• Preferred Skills (Plus): In-depth knowledge of the Italian Public Contracts Code (D.Lgs. 36/2023 and subsequent updates) and ANAC guidelines.

Core Competencies

• Technical Proposal Structuring: Ability to define methodological frameworks by analyzing tender specifications and coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants to draft winning technical bids.
• Consortium Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with partners and principals within Temporary Joint Ventures (RTI).
• Leadership & Strategy: Strong ability to lead teams under pressure while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and strategic vision.
