Inaugurated the construction site of the new Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pavia

Within an urban regeneration project in the area between Via Taramelli, Via Bassi e Via Aselli, a new structure dedicated to teaching and research will be built. The new Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences will occupy an area of 30.000 square meters and will replace several outdated buldings.

There will be classrooms with a total capacity of 2.000 seats and teaching laboratories accomodating approximately 500 people. Additionally, research laboratories, offices for faculty, and administrative and technical staff for the two departments are planned.

The project also includes the regeneration of the surrounding area, with green spaces dedicated to the academic community and the city. Moreover, an underground parking facility is planned, contributing to better accessibility for the entire area.

Following the awarding of the Design&Build contract with ITI Impresa Generale Spa, ATI Project will be responsable for the execution of the detailed project. The final project was developed by Manens Spa and Studio Architetti Mar Srl.
