Description
The redevelopment project of the Frates Perignano ASD Sports Center is an intervention designed to meet the community’s needs, starting from the existing structures and aligning with the development standards of the Serie D football league and the youth sector.
The architecture interprets the various synergies of a strongly characterized territory and, through an integrated process, provides spaces and structures that make the peripheral area functional and integral to the development of the urban and social fabric. The expansion of the “Mauro Matteoli” stadium stands is accompanied by the demolition and reconstruction of the new cultural center, part of which is allocated for ancillary functions such as changing rooms serving the main field. The overall expansion of the center also includes strengthening the youth sector and the football school, with two fields for eleven-a-side and seven-a-side games, along with their respective changing rooms.
The tennis center, an integral part of the complex and a key component of the diverse offerings to the user base, is also expanded and renovated according to the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency.
The Frates Perignano ASD Sports Center thus embodies the contemporary concept of a sports experience. Its functionality is broad and versatile, not confined to specific times or activities solely related to sporting events, thereby becoming a structure with its own urban dimension, recognized and appreciated by the community.
