Description
The design is inspired by the analysis of the territorial context, understood as a highly fragmented social pattern here, and aims to restore a new quality and image to the Florentine area of the former Lupi Barracks.
The design is the synthesis for three concepts:
- Organism, an urban circular and sustainable system, an eco-system for a new generation;
- Green Infrastructure, that overcomes functional limits and becomes an ecological indicator for the entire neighbourhood;
- Space, conceived as the mediation between open areas and built areas, that restores an urban landscape made for leisure and community.
