Description
The renovation proposal goes beyond conventional disciplinary borders and engages a smart functional strategy, simple and flexible at the same time. The confrontation between the new and the existing elements takes place when breaking the logical system that regulates the spaces and the functions, generating a multiplication of the activities and relations.
The approach is an all-inclusive one: materials and finishings acquire new meaning. On the outside the buildings have been kept in their former envelope, while treasuring on the inside a fully contemporary design.
A modular box completes the intervention: it allows the punctual activation of specific events within a scattered and interactive public space, while providing many possibilities for its use.
