MIRA at Vision Lab of InOut – The Hospitality Community
From its preview at dOT Materica during the Milan Fuorisalone, the modular and flexible project by ATI Project arrives in Rimini under the curatorship of EN Space network, led by Sabina Antonini.
Following the energy of the Milan Fuorisalone, where it drew attention for its exploration of materials and artificial intelligence applied to design, MIRA – Modular Integrated Responsive Architecture, by ATI Project, debuts in Rimini as one of the main installations at the Vision Lab curated by Sabina Antonini – EN Space network, within InOut – The Hospitality Community (October 8 – 10, 2025, Rimini Expo Centre). Situated among installations by Lombardini22, Progetto CMR, and Studio Marco Piva, MIRA enters the Vision Lab as part of an experimental platform where modularity, materials, and light form the language of an architectural narrative suspended between functionality and social interaction.
Versatile and adaptable, MIRA responds to any need: it can become a relaxation corner, a workspace, a small dining area, or a temporary lounge. Dynamic textures and geometries, developed with the support of artificial intelligence and generative design, give the project a strong and recognizable identity. The modules can be combined in different configurations and connected to each other, creating immersive experiences that are sustainable and highly customizable.
The prototype results from collaboration with leading Italian excellence, each contributing to transforming MIRA into a sensory experience. Characterized by a wooden substructure, MIRA embodies solidity, versatility, and meticulous craftsmanship in every detail. Cromatica Marcegaglia produces the internal and external metal cladding using digital steel printing technology, allowing for customized patterns and images with infinite color and shade combinations. Collaboration with ATI Project’s R&D department created a unique texture that enriches the installation’s aesthetics and interacts dynamically with light, transforming surfaces and atmospheres into a one-of-a-kind visual experience.
The internal ambiance and dialogue with the surrounding environment are enhanced by Egoluce’s modular lighting, featuring the Anaconda linear system, which allows the creation of light effects and focal points adaptable to any module configuration. Dakota Living contributes elegant and functional thermo-treated wood flooring, while Binari provides complementary furnishings that combine functionality and style, making MIRA vibrant, welcoming, and evocative.
Within the Vision Lab, MIRA engages with other architectural experiments, highlighting how materials, technology, and modularity can redefine urban hospitality. Curated by Sabina Antonini, this dialogue offers the audience an immersive, aesthetic, and sensory experience. MIRA thus becomes more than a modular architecture: it is a tangible narrative of innovation and beauty, where every detail – from structure to cladding, from light to flooring – comes to life and surprises its observers.
