Siena Hospital, Swing Building: ATI Project Delivers Sections 1 and 2 Right on PNRR Target
The first two phases of the new healthcare complex are complete. ATI Project’s integrated design ensures seamless continuity of care as the hospital’s masterplan gets underway.
On June 30, our construction management team – led by architect Fabio Camberini – officially signed off on Sections 1 and 2 of the new Swing Building at Siena’s Le Scotte Hospital, hitting the PNRR deadline head-on.
For this €51 million project, we managed the full integrated design – architectural, structural, and MEP – for the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Senese. The facility serves as the logistical launchpad for the entire hospital masterplan: it will temporarily house departments relocated from historic wings so seismic and fire safety upgrades can begin without interrupting medical care for a single day.
On-site construction is now focused on Section 3, scheduled for completion in February 2027. This final phase will mark the official launch and full operational opening of the entire complex.
