A revitalization project for the San Rocco area
The redevelopment project for the Biomedical Chemical Hub of the University of Ferrara aims to enhance an area of significant historical importance, as part of the UNESCO site “Ferrara, City of the Renaissance”. It involves the construction of two university buildings and a parking facility that will integrate with existing structures through a harmonious architectural language.
The first building will be designated for classrooms, while the second will be dedicated to research laboratories.
The project promotes suistainability by allocating over 50% of the area to pedestrian and cycling paths, prioritizing the use of eco-friendly materials.
