The intervention of the North Tower at the Parco delle Torri in Pisa has been selected as a finalist in the ESG – Environmental Social Governance category of The Plan Real Estate Award 2024. This significant achievement recognizes the central role of the project in transforming the Cisanello district of Pisa, combining technological innovation, a focus on community well-being, and environmental sustainability.
The Plan Real Estate Award is a prestigious international recognition that includes three thematic categories, organized by The Plan magazine. The award celebrates architectural and real estate projects that stand out for their ability to combine aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. The goal is not only to reward the formal beauty of the works but also their positive impact on the community and the environment. In this way, the award values interventions that improve urban life quality and contribute to creating a more sustainable future.
Strategically located between the historic center and the scientific-medical hub of Pisa, the North Tower is the city’s first Business Tower, aimed at revitalizing the Cisanello area, with tangible benefits for the local community and the real estate market.
This initiative is part of the larger urban regeneration project “Parco delle Torri,” and the acquisition of the Tower by ATI Invest in June 2024 has accelerated the completion of this important construction site. In this context, the intervention and the completion of the remaining part of the complex by the Bulgarella Group contribute significantly to the improvement of the urban fabric of Pisa.
The project aims to minimize environmental impact through the adoption of advanced technologies that integrate with the existing steel structure. With a particular focus on energy efficiency and the comfort of future tenants, the project aims to obtain LEED certification, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability.
The top seven floors of the Tower will become the new headquarters of ATI Project, further strengthening the studio’s connection to the territory, while the six lower levels will house offices of prominent companies and professionals from the city, offering differentiated services to the community and becoming the new hub for innovation, well-being, sustainability, and territorial interaction.
The selection for the Award in the ESG category recognizes ATI’s commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility, reflecting values of environmental protection, positive social involvement, and transparent and ethical management of activities and initiatives. This recognition serves as an incentive to continue enhancing the area and setting new standards for urban regeneration and sustainable innovation.
