Presented the technical-economic feasibility study for the new Padua East Hospital Complex

Yesterday the technical-economic feasibility study for the new Padua East Hospital Complex was presented. The project, developed by Politecnica (leader), ATI Project, Cooprogetti e Technit, will become the first healthcare complex in Italy in terms of beds.

The new hospital will occupy an area of approximately 212,000 square metres within the San Lazzaro district, will have 963 beds (90 intensive care beds), as well as 45 technological operating theatres, a multifunctional plate, buildings for inpatient and outpatient activities, a research tower, and a service hub.

The new healthcare complex will be technologically advanced, welcoming and comfortable, characterised by high energye fficiency, thanks to a careful choice of materials and technologies; designed for patients and workers, it will become a reference for the community and for the entire Italian healthcare system.

We are proud of this first important milestone, achieved thanks to the commitment of the Azienda Ospedale Università Padova, the Regione Veneto and the team work of over 190 professionals.
