Acoustic Designer – Sustainability & Comfort Team

What we ask

We are seeking an Acoustic Designer to join our specialized Sustainability & Comfort Team. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will be responsible for acoustic design and modeling for both national and international projects, ensuring the technical accuracy of analyses and the excellence of proposed solutions.

The successful candidate will develop predictive assessments and define high-performance construction solutions, combining technical operational skills with a strong focus on regulatory compliance throughout every project phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis & Modeling: Develop predictive models and assessments for noise impact, acoustic climate, and Passive Acoustic Requirements (RAP) for civil and infrastructural projects.
• Technical Design: Define and analyze building envelope assemblies (stratigraphies) and construction solutions, proposing technical measures to guarantee acoustic comfort and compliance with design standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare specialized technical reports and bid documentation, ensuring full adherence to national and international legislative frameworks.
• Team Support: Collaborate with designers and project leads to integrate acoustic strategies into the overall project, ensuring precision and meeting delivery deadlines.

Experience & Requirements

• Education: Master’s Degree in technical-scientific fields (Building Engineering, Building Engineering-Architecture, or Architecture).
• Language: Proficiency in Italian; a good command of English is preferred.
• Professional Experience: At least one year of professional experience in acoustic design and analysis.
• Software Expertise: Operational knowledge of key predictive analysis software (e.g., Edilclima, Pachyderm, Catt-Acoustic, CadnaA, or equivalent) and advanced use of Excel.
• Preferred Skills (Plus): Qualification as a Competent Technician in Acoustics (TCA) and basic knowledge of BIM workflows (Revit).

• Technical Rigor: Solid knowledge of key regulatory frameworks (D.P.C.M. 5/12/1997, Law 447/95) and the ability to translate theoretical requirements into buildable, practical solutions.
• Flexibility & Problem Solving: Proactive attitude in managing multiple operational tasks with precision, supporting the resolution of technical issues under the guidance of a Senior Lead.
