Architect and/or Engineer - Italian Tenders Department

For the strengthening of our internal structure, we are seeking a professional to join our Tender Team for our Pisa and Milan offices.

Role Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical management and development of technical proposals, with particular reference to Public and Private Works Tenders and Design & Build tenders.

Main Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Document Analysis: In-depth review of project documentation forming the basis of the tender (PFTE, Executive designs) and tender documents (tender notice, specifications), with a specific focus on identifying technical and award criteria;
• Technical Proposal Development: Preparation and submission of enhanced solutions (constructive, technological, managerial, construction-related, economic, etc.) aimed at maximizing the technical score while respecting the established budget;
• Consultancy: Interface with internal/external specialist consultants and strategic suppliers; optimization of project solutions through the use of innovative products and technologies;
• Documentation Preparation: Drafting of the tender dossier that comprises the technical proposal, including reports, graphical documents, cost estimates, 3D models for construction site layouts, LCA analysis, acoustic and energy simulations, schedule preparation, AI-based simulations, etc. (these are just some of the activities we handle!).

 Ideal Candidate Profile: 

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture;
• Proficient in Italian (spoken and written);
• Proficient in the main software for analysis and preparation of technical proposals (Adobe Suite, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, Project, Primus, Excel, etc.);
• Technical expertise in building systems and energy (knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and special systems, energy analysis), with familiarity with supporting software such as Edilclima, Dialux, and Project considered a plus.
